      Prayer to St John Vianney

"Almighty and merciful God, you made St John Vianney wonderful by his pastoral zeal and constant prayer and penance. Grant, we beseech Thee, that by his example and intercession we may be able to win the souls of our brethren for Christ, and together with them attain to everlasting glory.
      Through Christ our Lord. Amen."

    • St John Vianney Feasibility Study / Capital Campaign
We entered 2014 with the hope of renewed spirit and vigor, so that we can make St John Vianney Parish the best it can be, and move forward with our plans to re-purpose our recently acquired buildings and reduce our parish debt.

We retained the services of the Steier Group, a development consulting firm, to conduct a comprehensive feasibility study. I recently received their report which was also shared with members of the Finance & Pastoral Councils and Strategic Planning Committee. I then submitted the report to Bishop Vasquez and the Diocesan Offices for their comments.

The view of our Bishop and the Diocese is that we should move forward with the capital campaign. We are currently detailing the contract with Steier that will make this happen. I look forward to sharing this with you all as we continue to build for the future of our parish community.

May God Bless you and St John Vianney Catholic Parish.

The Diocese of Austin is in the process of developing a new Pastoral Plan, an important document that will guide the mission and direction of our diocese for the next five years and responds to pastoral needs. During this time Bishop Vasquez and the Steering Committee is asking for your help and information. Please go to www.austindiocese.org, click on pastoral plan and take a short online survey. It should take no longer than 5-6 minutes. Thank you for your help in this important project.

Please note there will be no Faith Formation classes on Easter Sunday April 20th and Easter Wednesday April 23rd. We wish all our children, teens and their families a very Happy & Holy Easter.
