Saint John Vianney
Youth Ministry
As stated in the USCCB document Renewing the Vision: A Framework for Catholic Youth Ministry, a comprehensive approach to youth ministry integrates three goals:
-
Goal 1: To empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today (9).
- Goal 2: To draw young people to responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of the Catholic faith community (11).
- Goal 3: To foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each young person (15).
Youth at SJV are offered a variety of social activities rooted in faith, fun, catechesis and service. All youth in grades 6-12 are invited to participate; there is no registration required.
